I was impressed from day one. Instantly, Arbonne became to me what “the game” was to my husband, something for me to be passionate about.
“The game” has never been my thing. I did not relate to that kind of intense passion for work—striving to make more, be more and do more, but my husband always has. Without a doubt, it is his passion. We have been together for 14 years and I realized I never had a passion. I was simply getting by in life. For 11 years, I stayed home to raise my four children. Being able to stay home with them was important to me and it is a luxury that I realize many women can only dream to have. I am very grateful to my husband for that opportunity. As the children got older and my youngest child entered school, I was longing for something for me. I needed something I could be passionate about. Something I could be good at; my “game”.
In October 2006 my best friend invited me to a “ladies night out”. I went with much reluctance. I would have preferred to have been home with my family. My friend insisted we spend some time together since I had not seen her socially in a several weeks. As it turned out the “ladies night out” was an Arbonne party. She convinced me to purchase the anti-aging skin care system and she did the same. We also purchased some make-up and body care products that night as well. I was quite sure my purchases would be returned within the 45-day return timeframe.
At the time, I was only using one item on my face. I was intimidated by the “system” and did not know where to begin so I let the products sit on my counter for a few weeks. The consultant, my now sponsor, Eva Anello called me to see how I was enjoying the products. I explained that we were moving into a new home and I did not really have the time to learn a new regime. Once we got into the new home I tried the Arbonne products and within two weeks, I had referred a few of my friends to my Consultant. I loved the products! This time she called me to say “that’s how Arbonne works; by word of mouth.” She then asked if I would like to hear more about the company. As they say, “timing is everything.” I was very pleased with the products and yes, I did want to hear more. I guess I was searching, looking for something that could fit into my life with four kids.
By December 2006 I was involved. I learned Arbonne is a company founded on integrity, which stands behind its consultants and products. I was impressed from day one. Instantly, Arbonne became to me what “the game” was to my husband, something for me to be passionate about.
I am certainly not into sports but I have become quite competitive. I love that Arbonne has given me new challenges in my life. Reaching goals and attaining them is such a wonderful feeling. I never would have dreamed that I would be earning money and staying home with my children while helping others to reach their own personal goals as well. Feeling good about helping others to feel good, look good and grow personally and professionally has expanded my sense of importance like nothing I have ever felt before.
To my best friend Monique Michowski, thank you for your friendship and support. Only you knew I was dreaming of feeling the importance that comes when you work in a productive environment. I am grateful you insisted on my attendance at the Arbonne party that night. Who would have known how one night would have changed my destiny? To EAM Eva Anello, thank you for getting me in “the game.” It has changed my life, all for the good!
To my husband Dave, from the moment I decided to do Arbonne you have supported me. Even though we are already experiencing all the benefits, I know the best is yet to come. To my children, the “Arbonne squad”: Thank you, for your patience, understanding, help, love and support. And for blessing my life with your laughter and energy!
