“Believe in yourself, be determined to succeed and expect nothing less than success.”
“What will your life look like in five years if you keep doing what you are doing?” This is what I heard at my first NTC in Long Beach, 2002. Well, I can tell you my life has changed in the last five years because of Arbonne. Today I am sitting on the patio of my dream home, overlooking my beautiful pool. As I sit down to write my Eye on Arbonne success story, I am feeling overjoyed and grateful to be where I am today.
Five years ago, I would have been putting on a uniform with panty- hose and leaving for two days to fly the friendly skies. I now have the flexibility to decide where I go, what I do and when I do it. I have the potential for financial peace, time freedom and a world of options open to me because of my Arbonne business. I encourage everyone to decide to do Arbonne.
I became a Regional Vice President in January of 2005 with a goal to become a National Vice President by December of the same year. I made it one month early, completing qualification by November of 2005. It is truly a dream come true.
So many people played a vital role in this year’s success. My husband, Kirk, has gone from questioning this business to being my biggest supporter and true partner. My team has grown together and locked arms in a commitment to move forward as a team. My dream of one day having my mom enjoy this business has come true. She began her journey in September and is now a Regional Vice President, only four short months later.
So much of this business is dependent upon a belief in yourself and your determination to succeed, no matter what obstacles might come in your way. It is about expecting nothing less than success.
One of my favorite aspects of this business is that by just doing this business you become a better person. It is about personal growth and showing others how, through Arbonne, they can have all the gifts life has to offer them. As we in Arbonne like to say, “This business is not easy, but it is simple.” When you commit to doing this business, you will, no doubt, face challenges both personally and professionally. Coming to terms with who you are and what you are made up of, in those critical moments, mark the beginning of your journey through personal growth. Self-development evolves out of building yourself into the kind of person you need to be in order to overcome the challenges and persevere. Then, and only then, are you able to help others do the same. As satisfying as it is to see how much you have grown as a person, it is even more fulfilling to see how much you have helped someone else grow and change from the person they use to be into the person they are today.
The wonderful thing about Arbonne is that you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself. It is a team-driven business where we are only as strong as your strongest leg. We have a proven system for success that is based upon each person duplicating the actions of another. Because all of us care so much about everyone’s success, we look to help, support and work with, not only our own teams but others who share our goals to succeed. My success is not only the result of my actions, and the actions of my team, but is also the result of other teams caring enough about me to lend their support. Arbonne teaches you that when you help someone else, you help yourself.
ENVP Jill Jones, ENVP Christie Feighgan, RVP Connie Moore, RVP Hannah Dugan and ENVP Stacy Thorn (all from other teams) gave their time to help me get where I am today. I am eternally grateful for their unselfish acts of kindness!
I would like to thank our President Rita Davenport for all of her support, words of encouragement and the humor she injects into this business. To Chairman & CEO Bob Henry, Executive Vice President Stian Mørck, Sr. VP of Product Development & Field Events, Candee Keefe and everyone at the Home Office: Thank you for this incredible opportunity and the support along the way.
To my upline, ENVP Renee Cote and ERVP Jacqueline Barron: Thanks for everything.
To my husband, Kirk, and my children, Nolan, Loren and Cole: Thank you for your help and understanding. It has been an amazing journey and because you have watched me set goals and accomplish them, you, too, have learned you can do anything you set your mind to. Remember when you dream big, anything is possible.
To my mom, RVP Joyce Reese: I knew you could do it! It is so awesome to have you on my team. You are on your way to Nation.
To ERVP Melissa Jackson, RVP Deborah Ryan and RVP Megan Leonard: You are simply incredible leaders. I am so blessed to have you on my team. It has been one crazy year with all the kids but it brought excitement to our business and we did it together. There is nothing like working with friends while our kids play with each other. We all have accomplished so much in just one year. I am so proud of each of you.
To AM Lauri Eason, AM Jennifer Broussard, DM Marcus Corona and the rest of our Area Managers, District Managers and Consultants in my Nation: This is your year for Region. Let us set goals and go for it. I am so proud to have you on my team.
To my Tennessee team: You all are amazing! You came together and along with my mom, achieved Region in four short months. It is your turn now to leave the nest for bigger achievements … a Region of your own. I am so excited to be working with so many family members and friends. Thanks for joining my team.
May God abundantly bless you, your family and business! I have been amazingly blessed. Thank You, God! I encourage you to accept the Arbonne gift and you, too, will be blessed in so many ways.
