“Keep it simple, work on belief, get into action, make short-term sacrifices, share your goals with supportive people and teach your team to do the same.”
What an incredible journey this has been. Pinch me, I must be dreaming. That is exactly what this is, a dream come true. I am abundantly blessed. I would have never thought this incredible lifestyle was possible two-and-a-half years ago. To have replaced my husband’s income, which allowed him to leave his very depressing and stressful job with the Department of Corrections, was extremely rewarding. Replacing my income as well gave me the freedom to leave the corporate rat race.
No longer do I have to get up to an alarm clock, put on panty hose, leave before my children wake up and rush to work. I no longer have to schedule my family around work, ask for permission for time off, pray that I will make more money each year and give my family more than just my leftovers. It is so refreshing! Now my family is together. We have the potential to be making an incredible income. We are getting completely out of debt. We can actually give to others and not just wish we could. We have been on fabulous vacations, the kind we dream about, with Arbonne. I have earned gorgeous jewelry. We drive a beautiful, white Mercedes-Benz. We have the flexibility to do what we want, when we want. The freedom is absolutely amazing and this is only the beginning.
These rewards are so sweet, they are worth paying the price. This is a simple business, but it is hard work. It is about making short-term sacrifices, building beliefs, setting goals, getting into activity and sharing your goals and your Why with people who support you. There is a proven system in place. Follow it and you will be successful. There are no short cuts. So, do not try to reinvent the wheel. The best copycat wins. It is not a race, you just have to finish. Never, ever quit. I am so thankful that my upline, ERVP Barbara Moser, never did. My sponsor, ERVP Kay Morgan almost quit before I started. I am thankful she did not. My Nation is full of amazing women and men who would not be here if they had. Not only am I relieved that Kay did not quit, I am so thankful she never gave up on me. I said “no” to her for six months (every week) about the products and “no” to the business for three years. She would just kindly drip on me. When the timing was right, I jumped in with both feet.
To reach the top level of management with this incredible company is a dream. We all go through an amazing journey of personal growth. Like many others have said, this is a personal growth company disguised as a skin care company. No longer do I have that negative programming of, “You don’t deserve that kind of success” or “You don’t have a degree, who do you think you are?” Nor am I living a lifetime of being second or doing just enough to get by. I have broken through the barrier of all of those doubts and fears that once stopped me. It is an awesome feeling.
One thing that really drew me to this company is that you cannot succeed without teaching others to become successful. What a concept. I love it. The higher you promote in management, just means more people on your team are succeeding. Even though I have shared my story, this journey is not about me. It is about this amazing, powerful, gifted and courageous team of women and men. I am so proud of them. They have taught me so much. I feel so honored to have each of you as part of my team.
To RVP Griffin Davis: Your courage and strength inspires me. With all of your obstacles, you could have had all of the excuses to let life get in the way of your dreams, instead you chose to go forward and promoted to RVP in a year. You are an amazing, powerful woman and I love your heart. To new RVP Shawna Haneneberg: Seeing you come full circle has been such an incredible journey to watch. I am so proud to see the leader you are becoming. You are remarkable. I am so excited to see you both promote to Nation very soon.
To the AMs in our Nation, Lori Huber, Susan Wallis, Molly Schumacher, Kolleen Caricato, Amy Crouse, Lynette Ovnicek, Shelly Hazle, Teresa Simpson, Kiva Nachreiner; and those in-qualification, Lesa Meeks and Tracy Reed: You all are precious. I am so thrilled for what is next for you — your white Mercedes-Benz. What a reward for a job well done. It symbolizes all of the hard work and sacrifices you’re all making. I cannot wait to see you all behind the wheels of your cars.
To all of the DMs, Cindy Simms, Chris Donley, Christy Sutton, Freddie Pyrek, Norma Moore, Teresa Raiford, Kelly Brown, Rhonda Garcia, Cindy Miller, Dena Giglio-Vetta, Gaylene Golding, Lynette Schmidt, Jeanne Santillanez, Laurie Marsh, Ellissa Harrington, Miranda Sears, Melissa Copley, Pam Behrendt, Chelsey Whitfield, Wendy Suhn, Gina Fischer, Denise Kitchen, Shelly Irwin, Kelly Sheffield, Jennifer Hege, Erin Macias, Pat Schulze, Debbie Mitchell, Kami Welter, Jessica Zahrt, Jodi McGregor, Tammy Erickson, Vanessa Forbes, Mary Siani, Lisa Anderson and the many others in-qualification: You all are awesome! To all of our Consultants and Clients: Thank you for your support. You are the foundation of our business. Again, thanks to my sponsor, ERVP Kay Morgan: You are such a gift. Thank you for never giving up on me. To ERVP Barbara Moser: Thanks for your encouragement and support. You are so giving. To my friend and peer, ENVP Kathy Lutz: Your precious gift of time will never be forgotten. Thank you for leading the way. To ENVP Cathi Almquist: Thank you for originally painting the picture for me, for your positive energy, which is contagious and for your friendship. Both of you believed in me, even when I did not believe in myself. To all of the other VPs who have encouraged and supported me, my heart is truly grateful. Especially for my Tame the Tornado group.
To President Rita Davenport: We are so blessed to have such an amazing leader. Thank you for believing in me from the beginning. To Executive Vice President Stian Mørck: Your encouraging words have always been greatly appreciated. To Founder Petter Mørck: Thank you for your vision. Without it, none of us would be here. To Sr. VP Product Development & Marketing, Candee Keefe: Can I just say, wow! You are amazing. We are so spoiled to know you and your awesome, gifted team! To everyone at the Home Office: You all are the backbone. A simple thank you seems so small.
And last, but most importantly, thank you to my husband, Charles. Thanks for the nudge to do this business, for believing in me, for your sacrifices, for being my partner, for your love, encouragement and support. Now you can go after your dreams. To our beautiful boys, Tristen, 5 and Ashton, 1: I love you all. I feel so blessed and very humbled.
Anything is possible with this incredible gift called Arbonne. Share it with everyone. Do not hesitate. Look at the lives this opportunity is changing. As Rita says, “I hate to brag, but I sell Arbonne.” It truly is a gift. Do not be afraid to go after your dreams. Dream big and choose to live the life you have always longed for, but were too afraid to admit. You deserve it. You have everything you need to reach those dreams, if you just believe!
